Chrispin Chiinda, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Munali Constituency, has raised a pressing concern about the escalating crime rate in the area.
In a recent Facebook statement, Chiinda alerted the public to a disturbing trend of attacks on women in the Chelstone roads camp area, particularly around 7-8 pm when they are leaving work.

According to Chiinda, six women have survived brutal attacks with serious injuries, and the modus operandi of the assailants appears to be targeting victims from behind, striking them on the head, and making off with their valuables, including phones.
Chiinda reported the matter to the authorities and visited the victims this morning. He has since appealed to the police to increase patrols in the area and apprehend the suspects before anyone loses their life.

The aspiring MP has also urged community members to exercise caution when moving around the area during the affected hours.
“Security must be guaranteed for everyone in Munali Constituency,” Chiinda emphasized. The community is advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
