NEWLY FORMED DPP UNVEILS PLAN TO SUBSIDIZE FUEL AND ELECTRICITY

The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), a newly formed opposition political party, has unveiled its plan to subsidize fuel and electricity. Party President Antonio Mwanza recently announced the plan, emphasizing that the subsidies are crucial for reducing the cost of living and boosting economic growth.
According to Mwanza, high fuel and electricity prices have created significant challenges for Zambia's economy. "High fuel and electricity prices have increased the cost of goods and services, reduced business competitiveness, and decreased disposable income," he said.
