Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) President Antonio Mourinho Mwanza has expressed concern over the current state of the country, stating that Zambia stands at a crossroads.
In a post on his Facebook page, Mwanza criticized the UPND government for being obsessed with fighting the PF instead of addressing pressing issues such as poverty, hunger, and unemployment.

Mwanza emphasized that the government should focus on fixing the economy, creating jobs, and improving the lives of Zambians, rather than engaging in politics.
He highlighted the country’s rich natural resources and young population, but lamented that politics of hate, division, and self-interest have hindered the country’s progress.

The DPP President called for a new leadership that looks forward, unites the country, and invests in key sectors such as mining, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, and technology to create jobs and opportunities.
He also emphasized the need to empower Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), support innovation, and drive value addition to benefit Zambians.

Mwanza concluded by calling for a transparent, just, and inclusive Zambia, where every citizen has a fair chance to succeed. He reiterated the DPP’s vision, mission, and promise to restore hope, dignity, and prosperity to the people of Zambia.
