Lusaka, Zambia – Two-time Fitness Physiques Africa champion William ‘Machine’ Sichone received a significant boost to his winnings after prominent businessman Shadreck Kasanda, affectionately known as ‘King Shad’, gifted him K10,000 at the Zed Nationals – Bodybuilding Competition held at the Government Complex in Lusaka.

Sichone had already secured second place at the prestigious event, earning himself a K30,000 cash prize. However, Kasanda’s generous donation took his total winnings to K40,000, a remarkable achievement for the Zambian athlete.

Kasanda, who was in attendance at the event, praised Sichone’s dedication and commitment to his craft, stating that his performance was truly impressive. “Machine’s physique and stage presence were outstanding, and he truly deserves this recognition,” Kasanda said.

Speaking to the media, Sichone expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Kasanda for his generosity. “I am truly humbled by King Shad’s kindness and support. This gesture means a lot to me, and it motivates me to continue pushing myself to achieve even greater heights in my career,” Sichone said.

The Zed Nationals – Bodybuilding Competition is one of the most prestigious events in the Zambian sports calendar, attracting top athletes from across the country and the region.
