In a remarkable display of entrepreneurial prowess, Merit Malambo’s Malies Beauty Parlour along Lilayi road opposite UNO Filling Station has stormed the industry, earning rave reviews from clients and establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with in just four short months. Dubbed “a baby born with teeth” by satisfied customers, Malambo’s venture has quickly become synonymous with exceptional service and unparalleled expertise, defying expectations and setting a new standard for beauty parlours in the area.

To get more on this, we had a chat with Merit Malambo, the CEO and proprietor, who brings an impressive track record in entrepreneurship to the helm of Malies Beauty Parlour. When asked about the challenges she faced when starting the business, Merit Malambo responded, “Starting from scratch, new equipment, new place, starting our customer base from zero, were some of the hurdles we faced when launching Malies Beauty Parlour.” However, her passion for beauty and determination to provide excellent services drove her forward.

Malies Beauty Parlour has created employment opportunities for six individuals, with plans to expand its workforce in the future. According to Malambo, “So far, we have empowered 6 people with employment, and our target is 10, then as we go forward, by God’s grace, we will add more as time goes by.”
The business has also had a positive impact on the local community, providing training opportunities that empower individuals to build their skills and confidence. Malambo’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has earned her business a reputation for delivering high-quality services.

“We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that every client feels valued and satisfied with our services,” Malambo said.
Malies Beauty Parlour offers a wide range of services, including hairdressing and styling, hair treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures, waxing and threading, body massages, and makeup services for special occasions. The parlour also sells beauty products, men’s suits, and handbags, providing a one-stop-shop experience for clients.

Malambo’s advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is to start small and focus on building their business gradually. “Don’t wait for perfection; start with what you have and keep improving,” she said. With its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, Malies Beauty Parlour is well-positioned for continued success.
