Lusaka, Zambia – Zambia’s two-time Fitness Physiques Africa Tournament Champion, William ‘Machine’ Sichone, has praised Fitness Physiques Africa Tournament organiser Cathy Martin, affectionately known as ‘Boss Lady’, for her steadfast support of his career.

Sichone, who was slated to compete in Dubai last month but was unable to do so due to clearance issues, expressed his gratitude to Martin for her generosity.
Despite not participating in the competition, Sichone had already received 50% of the sponsorship from Martin to cover travel expenses, food, and accommodation, but she did not request the funds back.

“I want to thank Boss Lady Cathy Martin aka Madam Kasongo for giving me the opportunity and opening big platforms for me and supporting me and believing me,” Sichone said in an interview.

Sichone, who is coached by Munashe Michael Fitpro and sponsored by Martin, also extended his appreciation to Sage Nyirongo, CEO and proprietor of City Gamers, for their continued support of his career.

Cathy Martin, a trailblazing entrepreneur and pioneer in the fitness industry, has been revolutionizing bodybuilding across Africa through her brainchild, Fitness Physiques Africa.

As the continent’s first female leader of a fitness and bodybuilding federation and in the UK, Martin has left an enduring imprint on the fitness landscapes of Zambia and Zimbabwe, paving the way for a healthier, more vibrant community.

With an illustrious decade-long career, Martin’s journey from competitor to founder and president of Fitness Physiques Africa embodies her unwavering dedication. Her federation stands out for its diverse categories and crusade against drug abuse and early pregnancy.
