LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Aspiring Member of Parliament for Munali Constituency, Obbie Musunga Chomba, has officially opened the Rabbeca Area Bridge, a project aimed at improving the lives of residents in Kalikiliki and Mutendere wards.

The bridge, which was a long-standing need for the community, has been a game-changer for the residents, who previously struggled to cross the area, especially during the rainy season. The bridge has brought relief to parents, workers, and the elderly, who can now move around safely and conveniently.

In a statement, Chomba expressed his commitment to serving the people of Munali, saying, “This bridge is not just a structure – it is a promise kept. My commitment to Munali is simple: to respond, to act, and to deliver development that truly makes everyday life better for our people.”

Chomba, who is contesting as an independent candidate in the 2026 General Elections, has been engaging with the community, listening to their concerns and aspirations.
He has outlined his vision for Munali, which includes tackling pressing challenges such as security, unemployment, education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.

“I believe that progress begins not in offices, but in listening to the heartbeat of the people,” Chomba said. “Munali deserves a representative who does more than speak for the people, a representative who works with the people.”
The opening of the Rabbeca Area Bridge has been welcomed by the community, with residents expressing their gratitude to Chomba for his efforts in improving their lives.
