NGWERERE WARD 22 ASPIRING CANDIDATE WESTONE MWANGO OUTLINES DEVELOPMENT PLANS

Lusaka, Zambia – Westone Mwango, an independent aspiring candidate for Ngwerere Ward 22, has unveiled his comprehensive development plans for the ward. During a recent appearance on the People’s Debate Program hosted by Caesar Sindele on Pan African Radio, Mwango shared his vision for transforming Ngwerere Ward 22 into a thriving community.

Mwango acknowledged the numerous challenges facing Ngwerere Ward 22, including the crippling water crisis, rising crime rates, inadequate educational facilities, and deplorable road conditions. He emphasized the need for a multifaceted approach to address these challenges.

“My vision for Ngwerere Ward 22 is to transform it into a thriving community with opportunities for all,” Mwango said. “To achieve this, I plan to upgrade water infrastructure, collaborate on road maintenance, push for construction of new schools, and support local entrepreneurship through training and funding.”

Mwango also highlighted the importance of community engagement, stating that he would ensure the community is involved in decision-making processes through regular meetings, social media platforms, and door-to-door visits. He also pledged to establish a community advisory board to ensure diverse voices are represented.

Regarding education, Mwango noted that while the introduction of free education is a step in the right direction, more needs to be done to improve its quality. He emphasized the need to introduce quality education to make free education a game-changer.

Mwango commended the UPND administration for increasing the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) but stated that more needs to be done to improve the lives of the people. He pledged to utilize the CDF effectively to address the pressing needs of Ngwerere Ward 22.

Mwango emphasized his commitment to servant leadership, prioritizing the needs of the community and working tirelessly to address them.
