Bright-Side School, renowned for its academic excellence, innovative approach, and commitment to nurturing future leaders, today joined thousands across the country in celebrating Uniform Day. This unique event brought together teachers, employees, civil servants, and individuals from all walks of life, donning their old school uniforms.

Uniform Day is a celebration of the good old school days, when life was simpler and memories were made. It’s a time for people to reminisce about their school days, rekindle old friendships, and recapture the spirit of their youth, by reporting for work wearing their back-in-the-day school colors (uniforms) – a blast from the past.

At Bright-Side School, the atmosphere was electric, with students and staff members alike enjoying the nostalgia-filled day. The event served as a reminder that, despite the passing of time, the memories and experiences of people’s school days remain an integral part of who they are today.

The CEO of Bright-Side School, Lazarus Malunga, led by example, wearing his school uniform with pride. Malunga’s gesture was met with enthusiasm and nostalgia from students, teachers, and staff members.

Other notable participants celebrating uniform day around Zambia included teachers from Mazabuka Girls Secondary School, Luansobe Secondary School in Mufulira District, staff at the Judiciary of Zambia, Chipembi Girls Secondary School, Mufili Primary School in Lupososhi District, Luano Day High School in Chingola, Kaputa Day Secondary School in Northern Province, and many more.

As one participant noted, “Uniform Day is a wonderful way to reconnect with our past and celebrate the journey that has brought us to where we are today.”
