Renowned Zambian photographer Andy Luki Jr has come out in support of Yo Maps, sharing a detailed account of the events that led to the musician’s outburst. According to Luki Jr, Yo Maps had provided significant financial and emotional support to several artists, including helping to organize a fundraising event for the late King Dandy Krazy.

Luki Jr reveals that Yo Maps had even cut short his vacation to attend King Dandy’s funeral and had provided essential supplies, including food and mattresses. However, instead of gratitude, Yo Maps faced insults and resentment from a group of artists who felt threatened by his generosity.

Yo Maps’ video message addresses this betrayal directly, stating, “Despite you hating on me, the food you ate, I bought. Despite you hating on me, I used to pay rentals for you. Despite you hating on me, I’ve helped you several times.”

The incident has raised important questions about loyalty, gratitude, and the challenges of navigating complex relationships within the music industry. As the debate continues, one thing is clear: Yo Maps’ courage in speaking out has sparked a necessary conversation about the importance of treating others with respect and kindness.
