LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – The Obbie Chomba Unity Cup 2025 is set to come to a close this Sunday, December 28, 2025, with the final match at Kalingalinga Grounds.
The tournament, which has been running for a month and two weeks, has showcased competitive and exciting football, bringing together eight teams from across Munali Constituency.
In a statement, Obbie Musunga Chomba, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Munali Constituency, expressed his gratitude to the participating teams for their commitment, discipline, and passion for the game.
“The tournament has been a true celebration of unity, talent, and community spirit,” Chomba said. “It has been a great display of football, and we look forward to an exciting final where the teams will showcase their very best.”
Chomba has extended an invitation to the public to come and witness the talent from the communities, saying, “Together with my team, I invite everyone to come through and witness the talent from our communities.”
The Obbie Chomba Unity Cup 2025 is expected to conclude with a thrilling final match, bringing the curtain down on a successful tournament.
