Lusaka, Zambia – Zambian bodybuilder William ‘Machine’ Sichone said he is primed and ready to propel his career to new heights in 2026, building on a string of impressive performances in 2025.

In an exclusive interview, Sichone reflected on his successful year, highlighting his triumph at the Fitness Physiques Africa tournament in Zimbabwe.
“It feels phenomenal to have regained the title in Zimbabwe. The support from my fans was incredible, and it fueled my determination to push even harder,” he said, emphasizing the significance of this win in his career trajectory.

Sichone’s impressive run in 2025 also included a second runner-up finish at the Fitness Physiques Africa Tournament held in Zambia, a second position at the Zed Nationals, a notable appearance at the Alex Classic bodybuilding tournament in Zimbabwe, and a victory at the Manicaland Classic Open Bodybuilding Division Championship in Mutare, Zimbabwe.

“I’m elated to have won the Manicaland Classic,” Sichone said earlier. “This victory is a testament to my unwavering dedication and unrelenting passion for the sport, and I’m grateful for the support from my fans in both Zambia and Zimbabwe.”
These experiences have instilled in him a renewed sense of focus and humility. “I’ve learned that consistency is key, and there’s always room for improvement. I’m already working on my weaknesses, and 2026 is going to be a breakout year,” he noted with conviction.

Looking ahead to 2026, Sichone is determined to build on his momentum and achieve what he narrowly missed this year.
“My mission is clear: I will win the Fitness Physiques Africa title in Zambia and defend my title in Zimbabwe. I’m not just targeting international competitions; I’m aiming to dominate them,” he said, aiming to rectify his second runner-up finish in Zambia’s Fitness Physiques Africa Tournament and the Zed Nationals.

To achieve his objectives, Sichone said he’s prioritizing improvements to his physique, posing, conditioning, and strength. “I’m taking my training to the next level, and my competition is on notice.”

For Sichone, bodybuilding has been a transformative journey, providing him with discipline and confidence. “Bodybuilding has given me the discipline to push beyond my limits and the confidence to pursue my dreams. I’m committed to inspiring young Zambians to take up the sport and strive for greatness,” he said.
