…Veteran singer follows July “Laila” release with new Uyo-produced love single and video

LUSAKA – Barely two months after releasing “Laila,” veteran Zambian singer Uncle Jah is back with another single and video, “Some More.”
The song, produced by Uyo, was released this morning on YouTube.
On “Some More,” Uncle Jah appreciates a woman who he says has shown him a kind of love he has never felt before.
He declares that with her, he will love her even more because he has finally seen in her what he has been looking for — true love.
The release follows Uncle Jah’s July 2 comeback single “Laila” featuring Team Ba Nona Chongo rapper Dizmo.
On that track, the artist known for “Gonga” and “Osabisa” linked with one of the country’s most influential hip-hop voices.
Uncle Jah said the back-to-back releases are deliberate.
“My silence wasn’t just silence. It was time I spent in the studio cooking up projects that are now announcing my comeback on the music scene,” he said.
“From now on it’s one after the other. People should expect more music, more videos and more collaborations from me,” he added.
The veteran artist is also known for hits including “Nikali Single” featuring renowned Zambian hip hop heavyweight Tommy D.
He said more projects are lined up as he re-establishes himself in the industry.
